I have been a patient of ACE for two years. I had ingrown treatments done by them two years ago. I came back this year for ankle pain. Except for the fact that my insurance was giving hard time for MRI coverage, I think they were great doctors overall.

Dr Kim does have a very delicate hand. Been to so many doctors but his skill is way up par.
I was little hesitant initially cause he looked so young,
When he told me he was 40, and have been doing this for 10 years, my mouth literally dropped.

Dr Ji Hee Kim walked me through my treatment plan and recovery in great detail. She is very responsive and makes sure to address all my concerns. I was able to get my foot surgery scheduled shortly after my initial consultation. Dr Kim is calm, honest, is up for a challenge but does not over promise. Annie at the front desk was very helpful and provided timely responses around scheduling and resources during recovery.

I'm pleased with the treatment I'm receiving from Dr. Kim. I didn't give a 5 star rating because I've asked for a superbill several times (which I submit to my Flexible Spending Account) and I still have not received it. Also, during my last visit, a different doctor whom I had never met, entered the room to provide my treatment, which I thought was odd. I respectfully declined and happily waited for Dr. Kim.

I made an appointment with Dr. Dupont based on the reviews I read here. He is excellent!! He explained, in detail, the anatomy of my foot and why I was experiencing so much pain. I thought I'd be scheduling bunion surgery, he took his time, answered all my questions. I learned more in this one appointment then I did visiting my regular podiatrist on multiple occasions.

Dr. Kim is very thorough. He spends as much time as necessary to thoroughly explain the situation and any suggested treatment options. This means you might have to wait, but getting the personalized attention is worth it.

I have been tolerating an ingrown toenail for years. Recently I suffered a serious injury to that leg and this painful toenail was an additional problem I did not meed. But I put off doing anything about it because I did not understand how easily it can be fixed.
15 minutes. Period!! And it's fixed permanently! And you could not find nicer or more caring people than everyone at ACE Foot and Ankle! They are terrific!!!
No more pain! I cannot recommend this place too highly.

OMG! This place was amazing! I've had a fungal issue on my toenail that I just couldn't get rid of on my own! Dr. Karimi took such good care of me and I am now finally fungus free. I can wear open toed shoes again; just in time for the sunny weather. I would highly recommend!

They didn't even bother to address any of the incredibly valid points I raised, like the Covid outbreak in their office (which I'm sure was just a delightful bonus for all their patients), or their brilliant recommendation to see a chiropractor for leg pain (because who needs actual medical advice when you can just get your spine cracked instead?).
And let's not forget about the non-delivery of orthotics! I mean, who needs those pesky things anyway, right? It's not like they're essential for foot health or anything. But hey, if you try to follow up with them about it, be prepared for some top-notch insults instead of any actual solutions. Customer service at its finest, folks!
But don't just take my word for it - go ahead and experience the magic of this place for yourself! You'll be treated to a delightful combination of poor communication, gaslighting, and subpar clinical care. It's like hitting the jackpot of terrible healthcare!

- First time I came there was a Covid outbreak in the office and everybody was sent home, but they did not notify me until I arrived
- The podiatrist recommended I see a chiropractor which isn't a real doctor at all
- 1 pair of custom orthotics costs over $500
- They would not release my orthotics to me unless my doctor was there even though I was picking up a second pair, it wasn't my first time visiting, and my name was already on file
- Their hours are very narrow, requiring me to take time off work and then with them denying releasing my orthotics to me, they wasted even more of my time
- I asked for my two pairs of custom orthotics to be mailed and it has been three weeks, but I have not received them despite living down the street
Overall, I've had nothing but negative experiences at Ace, and they operate like a business that wants to make life as difficult as possible for their patients. I would not recommend this place. I have transferred my care since then to Stanford Healthcare where I receive much better care and customer service.

I had an excellent experience with this clinic and Dr. Karimi. I had been dealing with a gnarly plantar wart for months. I have Kaiser, and my primary care doctor would only prescribe this basic OTC solution that wasn't working. The wart was very painful and prevented me from even walking normally, let alone doing other activities that I normally do. In desperation, I decided to go out of network to see what a podiatrist could do. I made an appointment here, and Dr. Karimi applied Cantharidin (beetle juice) to my foot, with heavy wrapping. Now this was very uncomfortable/painful for a few days. But after a week of this application, I went back to the clinic and Dr. Karimi cut away the blister that formed (this was painful, but Dr. Karimi was very mindful about the pain and did what he could to minimize). After this, the healing was dramatic, and after a few follow ups, I can confidently say the wart is gone. After having to deal with the wart for months, and feeling like it would never go away, this felt like a miracle.
I paid one reasonable fee out of pocket, but this included numerous follow ups that ended when things looked good and no follow up was needed anymore. Appointments were easy to make, I never had to wait. Highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Karimi.

I was referred to Dr Karimi by One Medical for my sprained ankle: I had an MRI and found out I had torn my ligaments: two of them. Dr. Karimi performed the surgery on me and I am back walking two months later with no pain.

I hurt my ankle three days ago. I went to urgent care and they sent me to this clinic. The staff and doctors here are great. I got an imaging appointment on the same day next door. Dr. Karimi is awesome.

Dr. Kim is not very competant. I went to him for the same ingrown nail for multiple trips and it just kept recurring. He only gives temporary solutions. The staff is good.

I absolutely appreciate all of the staff in this clinic. Very informative and very caring of their patients. Dr Kim and Dr. Karimi have great bedside manner and expertise in what they do 👌 best. The front office staff helped me alot to schedule my appointment, same day appointment, as I was in severe pain. I did not understand why I had to pay, as I have insurance right, BUT, they helped educate me, and it makes total sense. If the deductibles aren't met, there is a consultation fee. Once the deductibles are met, the copay, if you have one, will kick in. It is all based on what insurance you have! It has nothing to do with the clinic. So yeah, great reviews for this place, 100%

My first time and I loved the overall experience with the doctor and staff. I loved that I needed a date sooner for traveling reasons and they could accommodate to my needs. I was taken step by step in the process and I felt secure and in good hands. I would definitely recommend the service provided.

This Podiatrist office is very clean and tidy. Staff are very professional and super friendly. I would recommend Dr. Kim and Dr. Karimi. They're Very caring, and both fully explain exactly what is the problem & solution. They always give me the best recommendations and I never feel pressured for anything. They compliment each others work tactics very well. I've done laser for pain which works wonders. It is quick and easy, no pain. Very high end lasers which have helped me alot. I also tried the fungal laser and my problem has vanished under their care. Thanks Doctors!

At Ace Foot and Ankle Medical Clinic, Dr. Kim has helped my foot tremendously! As a previous runner, being Injured and in pain for quite some time, I was desperate to get some relief! I was pretty convinced that Running was not anywhere in my near future, because of many many months of pain and going back and forth to Kaiser, and no help. Kaiser was so quick of wanting to cast my foot and have me stay off of it without knowing or even trying to see what the real problem is. Dr. Kim Courteously used laser treatment on my foot and really cared to help me heal. Believe it or not, I am starting to run again. He has done such a fantastic job and I HIGHLY Recommend. You can tell he cares and knows what he is doing! Simply the 👌 best.

I went to this office for an sports injury after hiking and the care I received from the doctors here was awesome! They are caring doctors, very professional and knowledgeable. They followed up with me on timely basis and the office staff were very nice and helpful too. I recommend ACE podiatry to anyone who would have foot and ankle issues.

Wow, I'm so glad I came here. I was overwhelmed by the number of choices for a podiatrist in Sunnyvale, but this was the right choice. They not only took care of my initial request and my questions, but took care of everything that I asked about and more, teaching me about how to improve the health of my feet. It was awesome. Seriously I am grateful.

” I have been getting treatment from kaiser for 3 years ( plantar fasciitis )
I had multiful shots which was not actual problem solve only a temperary, boots and 9 weeks of casting after casting physical therapy, taping, foot exercise and also many pills. I ask to have surgery but Podiatrist from kaiser told me it might not work for me… End of January 2017 Dr. send me to rheumatology to check my nerve system.
Rheumatology doctor told me i do not have nerve problem cause foot pain. Kaiser Podiatrist told me they don’t know what to do. Year of intence treatment they told me they give up…
Off from job for year now, my employer let me go so I lost job and health insurance.

I consulted with Dr Kim and received very thorough advice which has helped resolve an issue with my foot. Dr Kim listened thoroughly and suggested a few possible causes including changes to my diet and vitamin intake. Since making those changes my issue has made significant progress!
Today I went to Dr Kim’s office and one thing I have to say (and this alone is worth 5 stars) is that his staff is attentive and he is prompt! I like it a lot when a doctor respects my time and that I showed up on time by not making me wait endlessly. At the same time, I don’t feel like I was rushed either, and I got some solid advice from Dr Kim that I truly appreciate.
